Yesterday was a PROUD day for me. Let me back up and explain. I've been working with the boys to learn how to sit still and do an activity...for more than 5 minutes. We've been practicing with puzzles, coloring, drawing on clipboards - you get the picture. So yesterday I was TICKLED PINK when I set the boys up with some paper, scissors, glue and markers and they ENTERTAINED THEMSELVES for about 30 minutes. No fighting and no running all over the house. It was marvelous. They did such a great job - I am one proud Mommy!

I hope I get to see the results when we get to your house!
Mom :)
Good for YOU and good for the boys! I'm sure you must be satisfied to see some results from your hard work!
Congratulations!! I totally understand about trying to teach those skills. It is absolutely not a part of E's nature to "sit" and do anything! One time I asked him to practice writing the letter T on a piece of paper and he said, "Mom, I've got an idea! Let's make a T on the floor with our bodies!"
Your training is paying off - way to go!!!
Wow!! That's amazing!!! I would be proud too!! 30 minutes is a very long time to entertain themselves without running or fighting!! Good job! :-)
