I discovered that Josiah, in addition to the other kids, LOVES to watch Daddy mow the lawn. Here he is watching for Adam to come around the corner towards the backyard. Josiah would quickly walk to the next spot on the deck where he could keep watching Adam after he passed by. It was pretty cute.
I've been noticing that Josiah keeps looking at the basketball hoop with longing in his eyes. Apparently Timothy noticed this as well. He took it upon himself to hoist up 25 lb Josiah to help him with a shot. He didn't get the ball in the hoop this time but Timothy told me that he DID make one before this. I'm not sure which of these 2 actions is more impressive- the hoisting or the shooting... :)

Your kids are TOO cute! That last picture (and comment) had me laughing out loud. Daniel also does two days a week of speech therapy. It amazes me how hard they (kids in speech therapy - at least Kale and Daniel) work and how quickly he can catch on and then how hard he continually works to catch himself as he talks. I love reading about the challenges you have with such close-in-age siblings and how you handle them - sometimes I just laugh at the similarities in my family!
I could just eat all your kids!! I need to make a trip out there...or we could meet in St. Cloud for a swimming/hotel weekend!

Oh such great pictures. I love the one with T lifting J. And the three children in the top picture is adorable too! Hannah has the cutest eyes. Luke is so grown up going to "school" - So cute!
Josiah is so cute! I love his legs...I think I like babies' legs! So sweet that Josiah watches Adam and tracks with him!! I also love that Timothy was able to lift Josiah so that he could make a basket. Wow!! Your kiddos are getting SO big!! I'm glad that Luke is learning and getting less frustrated! It's amazing how language is learned!
I think both feats, the hoisting and the shooting, seem pretty impressive! I love that you caught a picture of it!
