Yes, I'm giving myself a shout-out. Why, you ask??? Well, last night I went to our monthly craft night at church for some acrylic painting. Ok, I've NEVER done this before and don't consider myself particularly artsy when it comes to this kind of thing. Well anway, I found a simple, classy picture in a magazine and recreated my own version. I am shocked at how well it turned out...seriously. I thought FOR SURE that I would come home with a 4th grade version of a painting - usually how things turned out in art class for me. I think it must be a fluke but I'm SOOOO proud of my own little masterpiece. I keep looking at it going, "Did I really do that???" It's so cool!!
OK, enough about me. I'll make sure to find some pics of my adorable children for the next post. :)

Andrea, I love your artwork! You did an awesome job. Also, that shiner looks like it hurt--you're lucky to not be hurt worse. Hopefully it has healed well. Love the Easter picture--such a beautiful, happy family. Congratulations on the new job!
