raking needles

We are fortunate to have 2 GINORMOUS pine trees that shed about a million needles each fall. Sooooo, we get to spend some quality time together raking needles. Thankfully all we have to do is push them to the street and then a big sweeper comes by to clean 'em all up.
Eventually the pile was big enough for the kids to hide in. They had a great time playing together.

haha. that should be their punishment, like when we had to pick up a bag of rocks for mom if we were bad.

How well I remember raking pine needles there about 40 some years ago. Those thres must be huge, as they were big when we lived there.Greetings to Bethesda congregation to all that would remember Janice (Frey) Davis.
