Frosting cookies

This year I actually let my children help decorate the cookies. I thought that jelly roll pans might help with the sprinkles and they actually did contain the mess. I had to really try hard to not take over their work when the frosting wasn't spread perfectly or the sprinkles were DUMPED onto helpless little cookies. (Notice Luke's tray...) The kids had fun and the mess was fairly easy to clean up. I will say that these cookies will be reserved for friends who will appreciate their unconventional beauty.

You HAVE to taste the frosting to make sure it's good enough for everyone else!

Ahhh, Hannah. She helped for a little bit with sprinkles but lost interest.

So, I gave her a frosted cookie. She proceeded to suck off the frosting and leave the soggy cookie on the tray...

I must have given her another cookie (I don't remember) and when I turned around and looked at her this is what I saw. (Click picture for full effect) Adorable, huh??

All are great pictures - and I click on all of them to enlarge them. Definitely everyone should do that to that last picture of Hannah - the sprinkles in her hair and everywhere show up so great!

Josiah is just changing so much!

I love the sprinkles everywhere! Those will be the best tasting Christmas cookies in the state! You can see how much they loved helping!
