I thought I'd add a few of my own "Not me Monday!" statements...confessions- whatever you wanna call em. :)

1. I did not ignore my 13 month old as he chucked cheerios all over the floor. I did not watch him pick one up and eat it after he'd been released from the chair. And I DEFINITELY did not think to myself that I hoped he'd eat the rest of them so I wouldn't have to sweep for the hundredth time that day.

2. I did not ignore my children as I frantically read a Jodi Picoult book called "Plain Truth" because I do not have a crazy fascination with Amish people.

3. I certainly did not smile to myself as I heard the Rev, instead of me, dealing with Hannah who had let a little poopy sneak out onto the carpet. I am not a cynical Mommy!

4. I did not stare at every little African American girl's hair while in Minneapolis yesterday trying to get some good ideas for Hannah's next 'do.

OK, I can't think of any others for now. Maybe next week I'll have a longer list - we are having a family weekend. I'm sure there will be lots of things that I won't want to claim that did happen! :)

That is too funny, because my little one did the same thing with cereal earlier today! But she didn't pick them all up so I still had to sweep!

I love these. You made my whole day with the cheerio one... we had a similar incident at our house this morning as well. Madison just laughed and said, "Mom, this is why we need a dog." Got to love them!

Yep.. a dog. Sammi manages to find the Cheerios even though I try to grab them as they fall to the floor. This morning I think Taylor actually dropped one on purpose for Sammi. Between Taylor and Sammi, I need to try to make sure nothing is on the floor that is edible... or at least items that fit into their mouths!

I'd have to say that it's a good thing that everyone has those days...otherwise I'd feel guilt all the time!

I have one that I could write in to but I'd incriminate myself and to many people read these.....
